Calligraphy
Chinese Calligraphy is an artistic expression of writing according to the characteristics and meanings of a Chinese character.
By controlling the pressure and speed of pointed Chinese brushes, artists create pleasing calligraphic artwork with different styles and structures.
The art of Chinese calligraphy is often praised as “a poem without words, a dance without action, a painting without pictures, and music without sound”.
At SixteenO’s Art Bar, our experienced teachers will teach students how to handle pointed Chinese brush and basic calligraphy techniques and guide them to complete their calligraphy artworks depicting some famous ancient Chinese poems.
